Event Overview : Code & Connect is an electrifying event crafted for students who love electrical engineering and coding. Participants will showcase their individual and collaborative skills through progressive rounds, with team formation initiated after Round 1 to encourage teamwork and cooperative problem-solving.

 Event Rounds :
                                                                                                                                                                          Round 1 : Drawing Electrical Symbols

•  Objective : Accurately draw given electrical symbols using any programming language.

• Focus : Precision and understanding of electrical components.

•  Time Limit : Strictly monitored to test quick thinking.  

                                                                                                                                                                          Round 2 : Coding for Electrical Theorems (Teaming Begins Here)

• Objective : Participants who qualify from Round 1 will be grouped into teams to collaboratively write code for executing electrical theorems (e.g., Thevenin’s or Norton’s theorem).

• Focus: Showcasing coding skills, teamwork, and application of electrical theory.

•  Time Limit : Task must be completed within the specified duration.

•  Teaming : Teams will be formed based on performance in Round 1 to balance skills and foster cooperation.

Round 3: Debugging Challenge

• Objective : Teams will correct a provided error circuit and error code, followed by answering a related question.

• Focus : Analyzing, troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving.

• Time Limit: A set period for completing the challenge as a team.

 

Winning Criteria :

• Team synergy and effectiveness starting from Round 2.

• Precision and creativity in coding and circuit analysis.

• Problem-solving speed and accuracy under time pressure.

• Overall contribution and presentation by each team during Round 2 and 3.
